Hi all
I am looking into the costs of setting up a hen house large enough for 2-3 hens. I have fallen for Burford Brown eggs big time so would love to keep them.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a setup that is not going to break the bank but is still god quality. I have been looking around and costs are all over the place so I hope someone can give first hand advice.

Mark, I too am a 'new starter'. Have seen the chooks. Going for two calder rangers and a black rock. I had been looking at the Egloo, but whilst at a local poultry producer my wife noticed an Ark. Much more traditional. Has an 'upstairs' for roosting, along with nest boxes. We both like it, not too big but able to move it around the garden. Look here www.forsham.com  Hope this helps. Mike.
