I got a Dremmel (Aldi's version of).
Now I need some protective equipment before I start engraving my chopping boards and polishing my cutlery with it...

Anyone ever used one and if so what for?  I got it cos I like the idea of making something out of bits of old tree.

OH got one of these a couple of years ago and loved the idea of what he could do with it but unfortunately he's just not that creative or inspired so it's sat in his toolbox since then !

I'd say you will deffinately need eye protection with these, they are powerful and little bits can fly off whatever you're working on.  Also, they aren't heavy duty so you'll need to take care not to use too much pressure when using them.

I could do with a new set of french doors, mine are getting a little "tired"
a few months practice, and SW could whittle me up a set.......

I got a cordless nail gun, all the allotment fences are very secure and worth a fortune in scrap metal! Can't think of a way to use it for planting tho...

Wow what great pressies you all got!  I didn't get any gardening presents at all.  I'm starting to think that no-one has any faith in my abilities :cry:
A packet of seeds would have been nice...  But I spose it's the wrong time of year.  Fortunately my birthday's in May.

I got a rubber collander, a holder thingy for the car, a horrible vase (lemony yellow glass with squiggles on it that I'm sure is second hand),

So yesterday I went to the sales and got
A new handbag & purse & makeup bag & glasses case
A new coat
A new scarf
A new hat

But, back on topic, anyone have any crafty ideas for shells and my craft woodworking dremmelly tool?
