I am gradually pulling up my seed-sown onions, sown in January, in size order, but the remaining ones now are little more than fat spring onions. Do they have any growth left in them or is this as big as they are going to get?

At this time of year, that's it I think! But would be good for pickling! :)

I agree with grannie. If left for next year they'll most likely go to seed.

Oh well, I guess I'll be doubling or tripling up for meals from now on....

GYO - cut them up and freeze them raw - they freeze well for stews and soups..
