Buckets for tomatoes?
I bought 18 of those black buckets from Asda too!

Never seen them before, but with my amount of potatoes I'm going to need a 'few' containers

I've read somewhere that one lady got 22 potatoes from planting 2/3 in one of those B & Q orange buckets.  I could have got mine from B&Q with discount but I didn't fancy the colour in the garden

So when I saw the black ones I was made up!

I am loving the flower buckets idea - will ask at my local t............ when i next go.
:D

I asked mine two years ago and got 72 so it's well worth asking and I too last month discovered my loacl garden centre's skip and what I find it has been since. They don't mind you taking anything that they have put in it or around it.
Try my best to be Organic but don't always make it

the florists pots (for free) generally measure 12" dia x 15" deep, well good enough.....

also rem some supermarkets chuck 'em out so its always worthwhile enquiring....

the watchword is recycle - last year I bought a perfectly good 8x6 greenhouse fully glazed (well couple of cracked panes) for £40.... mind you it took me two years to track one down but persistance paid off.....  just had to dismantle, transport and re-erect......

also got lots of bit'n'bobs off FREECYCLE -
Death OR Cake ???

hi, sorry i didnt mention that they are about 15 inch high by 24 or the large one i have is about 18 inch high by 30 across these are available at B&Q,  focus, wickes, and garden centres but much dearer probably twice the price.
They also come in a variety of colours dark green look good in the garden, i also use one to keep our wellies and lotty stuff in the boot they also have handles.
Hope this helps
