Up to 55 now and have a fridge full.  Going to use them up but then on holiday . If I had new ones picked how long should they keep in the fridge

After about 10 days they start to get a bit morbid and eventually start to break down. Keep best in the veg compartment in an open box rather than wrapped up.

They make great piccalilli and chutney.

I store mine in my big pantry type cuboard in the kitchen.
As long as they have a good stalk attached they seem to keep for weeks and weeks.

I agree.  I think putting them in the fridge causes them to get condensation on and they rot quicker    I have some canvas bags to hang them up in as well

Ah. I have been keeping mine in the fridge.
I have canvas bags, homemade like everything else, will give that a go, thanks ladies.

I chop them and freeze them to use in curry and stews.
