Bramley apple
« on: September 17, 2009, 22:28 »
I want to plant a bramley apple tree on my plot. The questions are when, how etc. as I'm a bit of a novice!
The next plot has a discovery and a russett, so I think I'm ok as regards pollination.

Hi, Bramleys are triploid, meaning they need 2 other pollinaters in flower at the same time as them.
You can find a good guide here:

They're good little trees to have, though, if on a dwarfing rootstock.
