some of the leaves on my yellow rose in the front garden have gone a bit patchy and also on my honeysuckle in the back  garden will it be just they need a feed can i give them both the same stuff , will a general purpose feed do .

Yes, a general purpose feed will do the trick. They'll take what they need. Also, water them in well.
