tallulah if you want to try growing wallflowers from seed you don't need greenhouse space... sow some seed in a short seed bed / row. Later transplant into a nursery bed and then move into flowering position once the plants have bushed out in September.

It really is a very economical way of filling a garden with wallflowers..

In fact for anyone with a bit of spare ground on their plot its worth growing them just to sell as well grown plants about Sept-Oct time. Might make enough to pay for your veg seeds next year

Dead right... amazing how cheap and relatively easy they are to grow. 350+ from a packet of seeds and they are so expensive to buy in some nurseries - I was amazed when I saw lots at ridiculously high prices up in London at the end of summer.

Big problem is on my lottie site no one is allowed to grow to sell... sounds reasonable but if I had a spot of land of my own... that would help supplement the pension!!
