I sowed grass seed in November last year and was surprised how it covered up the large bare patch from the bonfire quite well. i seem to remember we had a fairly mild spell though which I guess helped

Just thought I would update you and say thanks for the advice.

The grass has started to germinate in the last couple of days so fingers crossed will have a lawn again. Think 3 weeks isn't too bad for this time of year. Then again have just found CW caterpillars on my sprouts which is a pain  :cry:
