Hi, does anyone know where i can get blue plastic barrels cheap or free in Doncaster area please? ( or IBC,s? ).

I too have been looking to source blue barrels in this area, but they seem to be nyon impossible to get hold of. I have tried buying them from online companies but these tend to cost an arm and a leg.

Will keep an eye on this thread though

There's a guy in Stainforth who does them I'll ask to see if he has any more and let you know when I got mine they were a fiver but think there £7.50 now will get back to you.

Try phoning local printing businesses. There is a very kind poster on this forum who works at a national printing business (he's based in Middlesborough though) and they give away blue barrels (complete with lids and metal securing collars). They are a by product of printing industry (think that starch-based finishes are kept in the barrels). I got 2 for nothing.  Otherwise they go to the tip!!!

Garages have always been very kind in our area (antifreeze or carwash) and Dairy Farmers a word at your agricultural suppliers can also prove fruitfull.
