thanks for the replies,

Its good to know that I'm on the right track.

Although I might need to catch up a little with brocolli and courgettes and a couple of other things.

So far this year I've got:
Potatoes - Epicure, Pentland Javelin & Pink Fir Apple
Onion - Swift, Red Baron
Porcelain Garlic
Shallot - Griselle (I think)
Parsnip - Tender & True
Carrot - Autumn King 2 & Parmex
Beetroot - Boltardy
Pea - Kelvedon Wonder, Oregon Sugar Snap
Beans - Cobra climbing French, Borlotti (climbing & dwarf)
Courgette - Gold Rush & Tuscany
Pumpkin
Kale - Cavalo Nero & Redbor
Cabbage - Greyhound & Red cabbage (can't remember the variety)
Romanesco, PSB, swede, Chard Bright Lights
Globe Artichokes - Green Globe

In the new plastic greenhouse:
Chilli - Cayenne, Orange Habanero, Jalapeno, Pimentos Padron
Tomatoes still to be decided on
Possible aubergines or sweet peppers depending on space

Blackcurrant, strawberries (Pegasus & Elsanta) and rhubarb for the fruit side of things then there's all the non-edible flowers and comfrey.

Most of the roots are in the ground with the brassicas and peas in seed trays.  Artichokes are from last year.  Everything else will done either this month or next.  It seems quite a lot when you write it all down!
