here is my Munty that I created. I took mebloody ages, I was on my own and I burnt my back. ARGHHHHH !!!

As it is my first one ever, I am quite proud of it.

Will design it differently next year.

Thanks

Thanks

Over 2 Saturdays, I dug a spade depth down and weeded at the same time.

Knackered.

Congrats Gary, that looks great! I can't wait for next year already so I can build one!

Won't that make it a "not-a-Munty" frame?!?!  :?

Hi Gary, nothing wrong with frame just needs two more supports front and back. only problem is if that is facing south you must have taken the photo at 9.45pm in two weeks time  . anyway at least you are having a go and not living in the dark ages, so you should have a big :) on your face and an A+  for effort. well done.

Hi Gary,

I'd second everything tommyboy said, especially with regards to the effort you're putting in.

Don't forget that once those beans really start to grow, the whole thing is going to act like a sail on a yatch and catch the wind. It'll need some strudy supports as mentioned.

Nice to see your plot coming on.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Thanks for all your comments.

It was hard to do, but very much enjoyed.

Question for TommyBoy.

How do you know it might be south facing, is that bad...

Are you asking for another photo in 2 weeks time to see what it is like.

 :!: Sorry confused.

No SG, I'm sure it will work well in that direction too.  As long as it gets plenty of light on it's "roof".

What i am saying it should be facing south,And  u should put some more supports in between the ones already up because when the folage & subsequently the beans grow it will not be strong enough to take the weight and all your hard work will be for nothing.
