I was trying to send a message with a local picture to some friends here, so will show it here attached instead!
It's a Christmas view of the cottages next door to us, and painted by a great friend - David Aspinall, who lives a few yards from us! He just got a bit of our chimney in on the extreme right, and we had a huge and friendly argument about how tall it was..;0)
The cottage has just sold, but the couple in the pic are our former neighbours and friends, Peter and Anne. I actually watched him starting the card, sitting on one of the chest graves behind us, from an upstairs window, but as it was certainly going to be his next Christmas Card, we kept that quiet!
He does exhibitions in all local spots, and we have got two originals in pride of place! Here's the link to him, it was his water-well I covered back in the Summer, and the very tired Growster standing in front in all his braces and finery was not the prettiest sight...
