I use pixresizer then choose the pics from a folder, upload them, choose email format, give the pic another name, create an email folder where they can go so you can find them when you want any to add to a post on here. Click on browse, select your pic then go for it!

I tried doing it but i still  could do it, why don't they make these things simple

Mrs Pea, I must admit I struggled with PIXresizer until I got the gist of how it works so I've just opened it but just forget working with one file or multiples for the moment.
Number 1 has a grey box which says load picture. Click on it and you'll see a box which says "Look in" (ignore what's showing in the box), click on the down arrow in the box and select pictures from the drop box which will show all your pic folders. Choose which folder your pic is in, click on the folder then select your pic. It helps if you've given your pic a title rather than having to scroll through whatever number your camera gave it. Double-click on the pic you want which will show in the right-hand window then select "Apply recommended." I created a folder for emailing my pics which should show in the top box which says Save in. Clkick on Save and it should be there in a format which you can email.

I give up i've been playing with this for ages and it wont have it, when i've selected a picture which is jpg and named i can get it so far then a box comes up cancel. Thank you for your help but i'll give up on that. It was bad enough this morning i couldn't get pictures off my phone on to the  computer, thank goodness that's all sorted now with the help of husband

Hard to be sure from this distance MrsPea, but it sounds as if you were almost there - the 'Cancel' box appears after you have uploaded the picture to the forum, and is only there to give you the option to change your mind.
It should have a small thumbnail image of your pic to the left of it.

All you need to do then' is click the 'Post' button (note; it won't appear in a 'Preview' of your post even if uploaded successfully.)

So how do you get the 'photo from the camera onto the laptop, and then select the one you want.    Mrs Bouquet

Your camera should have a lead that you plug into your PC, when I do that instructions appear on the screen giving me instructions how to choose which pictures I want copied from the camera or choose to copy all of them.
When that's done if you go to the pictures folder on your pc, you can choose which one you want to put on here.
