Title: Cast iron baths

Having just got my plot (see welcome to the forums (http://www.chat.allotment-garden.org/viewtopic.php?t=26703)!), it would seem that I have inherited 3 cast iron baths.

You can prolly also see the large water butt that is there.

What can I do with the cast iron baths? do I keep them for extra water, plant in them. Are they worth anything?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Sell them if you can move 'em  :lol:  seriously some are worth good cash but I'm not sure how the law may stand over stuff found on a plot ?

i hope I'm ok to do with them as I please, I think the parish councillor who showed us round said everything was ours.

They didn't make a fuss over the weeds disappearing ;)

People on our site grow carrots in them to escape the carrot fly. An extra water butt is always handy or you could put some stones in and make a home for frogs and toads.
Plot looks good though - you're lucky to have that big water butt.
