Silkie and chicks pic

These chicks are a week old and slikie is being such a good mother.

Mum is keeping a close eye on the chicks - really cute. 

The two yellow ones (one wasn't in the picture) are probably splash orpingtons.  The charcoal gray chicks are a farm yard hybrid.  Any hens from these three will be going into my laying flock.  The gray comes from the cuckoo pekin cockerel that runs with this flock.

So beautiful, mother looks very official.
