This may me a silly question but I have sown a number of seeds, ie Cauliflower Brussels, Toms etc and they are now all about 2inchs high so I am moving them into bigger pots, however there is about 50 of each!! What do people do just pick the best ones to move on or do I need to pot all 50 as only some will survive?

Are you going to eat fifty of them in a short period? Flatulence will be rife in your home!

I think you overdid it a little. Think about how many you will seriously eat and successional plantings and sell the remainder at a fete or car boot sale or something.

Your enthusiasm is admirable, but needs to be tempered by your needs.

Plant on your best can compost the others or give them away allways nice to make somone happy with your spears.

I did something similar several years ago - i planted self-saved lupin seeds, and every seed must have taken, as I ended up with about 100 lupins. I decided to pot them all on, and then used them to plant swap with friends and work colleagues. Great way to try different plants/vegetables you might not have thought of growing.
