im growing first early arron pilot and the plants are growing very nicely now, but Im noticing more and more little holes appearing in the plants, does this harm the plants, if so how can i get rid and prevent the pests from munching on them  ?

Last year I had green shield bugs (not stamps ) eating my potatoes, but it didn't do any harm ...........have a look at yours and see if you can see the critters that are doing the nibbling

I think shield bugs are suckers not nibblers so it is more likely to be flea beetle or keel slugs having a go.
