Sprout plants looking sad
« on: July 21, 2009, 11:14 »
Hi,
I planted out my sprout plants months ago (var. Eavesham) in two separate areas on my allotment.
One area has happy plants with perky leaves and strong growth whilst the other area has plants with drooping leaves on the lower half but no signs of infestation or disease of any kind.
There has been no shortage of rain lately and crop rotation has been observed.
They've grown to 2ft and not changing colour.
Thank you

Are the leaves changing colour or just drooping?
I may take my time.....but i'll get there in the end.

Are they firmed in? They need a good solid base...

I'm losing a few of mine as the drainage where they are situated is not as good as it should be, so when we had the torrential rain a few days ago, it didn't soak away, and the plants have suffered as a result. I've also lost two courgette plants  :(
