Bolting broccoli

My broccolli (calabrese) plants are starting to bolt

Some of them are ok, they don't have any "hearts" yet and are bulking up nicely. The others are quite lanky with what looked like hearts but then they shot up and started to flower.

Is there anything I can do to save the rest?

In a word....nope. Sorry.

You can't do anything with a plant that has bolted. Maybe the one's that have bolted didn't like the planting conditions...but there are hundreds of reasons why not!!!!

With the others all you can do is cross your fingers and toes.
