I've got two packets of seeds of the above and the planting instructions are a bit vague.Its quite clear that they need three weeks in the fridge and then in warmth but at what depth there isn't a mention.If in dought I normaly just cover them with a fine vermiculite but as the seed was expensive and that I really need them for my planting scheme I'm going to give them all the love they need.

Also planted woad after presoacking overnight,no instruction there on depth either but as there were 80 seeds I could experiment a bit.There are only 20 geranium seeds so they are very preciouse.

What size are the seeds?  That often has a bearing on how deep they should be sown.

I've tried a quick google but didn't find anything helpful.

2-3mm i'd say

Hardy Geraniums readily seed themselves around the garden here - so can't be that difficult
