Geranium cuttings
« on: December 17, 2008, 06:58 »
Its probably on here somewhere.Mum has given me 2 geranium plants that need putting in pots as she lifted them from her hanging baskets, she asked me to take cuttings for next year.Is it the right time to chop them up and plant up?Not sure how i go about this.I watched gardener of the decade the other night but they were doing grafts and deviding plants :?  :?
I need to do them tonight as they are in a bag on my kitchen table. So will trek up the greenhouse after work with the torch

I cut them just below a leaf base and then remove a few leaves from the top.  A bit of rooting hormone, stick them in some compost and wait.  Did mine a month ago and they are all ok.
Cheese makes everything better.
