hi all
i noticed today my row of carrots are lying down,,well most of them,,is this  carrot fry and must i pull them up

That is very often a sign of them. You'll have to have a closer look.

Were they netted?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Also, as arugula said in your parsnip post, they could be your problem there.

yes i guess it is the problem with both   no DD  not netted,,,do i pull the carrots up

Sounds like they've shot it, so yes, sling them.

Don't put them in the compost though!

There is still time to get some autumn king carrots in,you will have to plant in a different area and cover.Have you pulled some up to check them out?
