hello everybody, can sombody tell me what is the best month to prune my sweet cherry tree many thanks Neil

Most pruning of stone fruits should take place from late July to end of August. Formative pruning can take place in spring as the buds open.

Formative pruning is when you are shaping a tree which is quite young still

ie into fan shape, or a goblet shape etc
