Hi all

Next year I'm hoping to begin looking after chickens.  I've spent hours reading on the net and the information is overwhelming and a bit confusing.  Can any one recommend a good book or website as starting point.  Thanks Beth .

This website and read as many threads as possible. There are good books also recommended - Katie Thear's books are as good as any. Post a question on here and you will get great advice from the experts and others new to chicken keeping. Be careful this chicken keeping malarkey is addictive and so is this website.

Enjoy, you won't regret it (most of the time) .

The Haynes Chicken Manual  Absolutely fantastic for a beginner.
