Favourite Wild Animal
« on: August 31, 2023, 11:30 »
Mine is the American Bison, I think they are beautiful.  Guess what, one is my wallpaper on the laptop today.
He is gorgeous.  I am sitting and talking to him.
What is your favourite ?   Mrs Bouquet
Birds in cages do not sing  -  They are crying.

Good afternoon mrs bouquet, my favourite animal is the Aardvark,
after all "A little Aardvark never hurt anyone".

Now where did I leave my coat?  Cheers,  Tony.
I may be growing OLD, but I refuse to grow UP !

Orangutans… I just love them.

They are beautiful and very intelligent.  They have very enquiring minds.  The orangutans at Monkey World would investigate everything in their enclosure and were even known to undo nuts and bolts used to hold their climbing nets (made out of old fire hoses) together.

A tough one Mrs B, I’ve always loved lions, but elephants come a close second along with Aunt Sally’s Orangutans.

The gorilla has to be mine. I'd so love to try and communicate with one like I do with my cats.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

If you are multi lingual and can speak cat language, why can't you speak gorilla      Mrs B

It's currently our dog, as she just doesn't want to grow up, and insists on being a puppy all the time...

She's sitting next to me gazing up with huge eyes, while just a few minutes ago, she was belting around the room with a 'ratty' dog chew and scrabbling across the carpet on her tummy, making fake growling noises!

Wouldn't want it any other way - except until the postman arrives, when all hell lets loose...:0~

... because gorillas don't have different miaows, tails that display their moods nor ears that prick up when they see you!  :tongue2: ;) :nowink:

Any of the apes for me, although I always laugh at hippos in the water, twirling their tails while they go to the toilet!    No I am not six years old like my grandson who is obsessed with b...s, t..s and w..l.es at the moment.  Typical little boy at any age really, in my experience! :D
