Squash growing space saving tip:
« on: August 08, 2010, 11:41 »
This year I have grown squash in the mulch around my apple tree which seems happy climbing the tree. I just hope the branch can take the extra weight. Should have apple and squash to pick from the same tree! Will also try the hardy kiwi up another apple tree next year.

Under the tree (south side) I also have currents, which have produced a decent crop in their first year planted and continue to look healthy.
