I have a greenhouse which I can heat, where I can put the plants when too big for the house, where I start them off, but won't consider my tomatoes & until mid-February.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I'm not a chilli expert, but toms I start of at home in mid-Feb, peppers in March. I can usually keep these inside at home (with the assistance of aluminium foil), until early April, as I don't like to spend too much on heating!

SMC, treat the peppers the same as your Toms. With this exceptional weather have a bit of patience.
