cherry trees
« on: June 09, 2010, 18:23 »
I have a Morrello and a Stella cherry tree,I bought them together last spring and planted them at the front of my plot. They both showed plenty of blossom this spring, but to my disappointment most of the fruit did not set and there are only a few cherries on each trees. They are only young trees, but do you think I have a better chance of more fruit next season?
...the night was dark...they usually are!

hi there
1st reason for your poor crop is mainly the young age of your tree, secondly due to the long cold spell while in bloom, not many  insects were active. dont worry though you should see an improvement nect year
