I have bought one of the new Suttons kits to try. They reckon they make them up to order so never "old" and there are three varieties to choose from

It is now sitting with the bats in my underground tunnel but too early to show any yet.

Was expensive but worth a try I thought.  Comes in a dinky wooden crate all backed in a clear polythene brick which you cut holes in and water.

Will keep you updated if and when!

I use the Unwins one, they are white cap mushrooms and are extremely easy to grow.
