We are renovating an old chicken house.  What would members recommend to preserve the timber and dissinfect the inside?  There is a fair amount of woodworm,

creosote, but leave the chicken house open for 2 weeks to get rid of the fumes before putting your chooks in.  You won't get any red mite in there then!

We have a hen house now. In need of some TLC but we should be collecting eggs soon.
Dont know where i would get creosote. But i will wash it out with Jays fluid. Then paint it up nice and smart.
