The dogs have taken to telling me they want to go out for a wee at about 0430.  Never a problem happy to potter for a while.  I always get an uplifting feeling when anticipating the shortest day.  As my Dad would have said "it's all down hill from here".  I'll have to anticipate for a little longer yet

'Morning Robster, that's the spirit!

Yup, only a few more days now, and the nights start getting shorter!

Morning Growster,
Read about your colds.  Miserable.  Just had a pre festivity cold myself so I hope that's it done now.  Cant wait to get growing next year

It's not a real problem, Robster, but I was lying in bed, wide awake, and thought that I was just wasting time, so went down to write something - anything!

Our dog is just fast asleep but will emerge soon no doubt...

Most original reason EVER for getting up early:

Been battling with my broadband for the last few weeks (ever since I got a new router with Wifi so I could use my Hudl 2 tablet) and have been leaving the PC on 24/7 to run a program that monitors what's going on.

Unfortunately the PC is now showing signs of fatigue and one of the fans (I hope) has started rattling when it gets cold, so I left it 'sleeping' last night and got up early to put the heating on so I can have it running quietly again.  ::)

Not completely lost broadband yet, but it's certainly been mislaid a few times, and at the moment 'we' don't seem much closer to finding out the cause (I'm already on my second new router and the problems are now worse if anything.  :()
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

In many parts of BG the sun is shining at last. Alas we are being left out but at least it isn't raining!

No idea what I am going to do today, but if the sun shows itself it might be tidying the garden....the bits I can reach from the path!

Morning all!

Seems like the strong winds that the north had yesterday have found their way further south.

MC - how did the breakfast networking go yesterday? Which networking group did you go to, there are so many around now.

Morning all - wide awake so have decided to read for a while. Going to have a busy day and would much rather be sleeping for a while longer. Maybe if I read something boring I will drop off again.

Wide awake here too. My cat has decided that knocking Christmas ornaments off of the tree and batting them around on the hardwood floor is really entertaining.

A very good reason for not having a tree! He's getting better but lapsed this morning and started playing at just after three. Luckily the sun has come out and lifted my mood so not letting lack of sleep get to me. He's out with OH having a major tidy up, they should both sleep well tonight. I've taken some photos and sat on the wall in the sun watching happy chooks sunbathing.

Life is so hard sometimes

Give us a couple of days and we will be having 4 cats that do that! ::)
We shut them out of the front room at night now though, as Lotty-cat pees in the front room when then will takes her - which is usually at night! ::)
