Started at 6.30am and haven't stopped apart from a quick coffee at about 1.30pm. Have collected 156 bricks, still about another 80 to go tomorrow. Also stocked the house back up with food and bought stuff ready to make a hyuge pot of bolognese for the freezer tomorrow.

List of places visited today:

House 1 - Bricks
Butcher - Meat
Waitrose - Dried Chili's ready for making Chili next weekend.
Sainsburys - Remaining food.
Garden Centre - Pond stuff & new orchid (whoops, fell in the basket!)
Mansion 1 - More bricks. 2 runs today, 1 tomorrow. To give an idea of the scale of the house, it took 100 tons of gravel to do the drive……………………………………………………………….

My weekends are far to valuable to be sitting around!

Hi Devon and Tosca,

It's so muggy here, I just got up to try and finish a good book - 'Rat Run', by Gerald Seymour!

Keep thinking about the story all night so might just as well finish it now!

Enjoy your Sundays!

Morning all, off to Lake District today until next Friday. Hoping to relax a bit and recharge our batteries after working so hard on the plot. Weather is so so but who cares. Need to do a last min check later on the plot and garden before handing responsibility over to daughter  ???

The Lake District is one of the places in the world I Love.

I don't know if it is still working but I went to a Hematite Mine there and the nuclear power station as part of my Engineering Degree

Doh About to leave for the allotment and its started to rain ...... * I was looking forward to getting out of the house for the morning.

It's our wedding anniversary on Wednesday and we honeymooned in Keswick so thought we would visit again but have been there many times. I love it up there. :D

Yep thought about that but then that would only give the other plotters something else to talk about  :tongue2:
The only thing missing from that shed is a bed and loo

Hey, thank you, Ma! We really are having to get to grips with them this week, and that's only one bush, so we're incredibly grateful to the last tenant!

It's trifle time at the moment, and also our latest breakfast crush - Weetabix and blackcurrants!
