Up so early after camping with youngsters! You're doing well.

Long ago I ran 2 camps every year taking 60 Junior school children away on each camp. Loved it. The staff were amazing but it always left everyone (especially the children) absolutely whacked - loved it though.  :)
Our school was a popular choice with many parents and children partly because of the annual educational visits, our heated indoor swimming pool.... and our friendly community of course.

I love camp and love the activities and chatting with the kids but you only realise once you're home how tired you are! It's amazing how much just talking about random topics can take it out of you. We did archery, shooting, fires etc  :D

Good to hear that you have some of the same experiences though -->

Morning all, had a bit of lie in this morning after our weekend away to East/West Sussex. Got back yesterday at 2pm and by 2.30 was I  the garden sorting bean poles out for the runner brands planting the Oca's and sorting the greenhouse. Another full day today in the garden and lottie before hubby returns to work.

Archery... excellent. My most memorable session was with an 11 year old lad (Joe) who was gradually losing his eye-sight but still could see light and dark shapes in the distance as well as highly magnified text close up.

"We" scored two bulls-eyes and managed to scare the daylights out of the rest of the group! Joe particularly loved the mountain bike course... tons of confidence and an amazing person. I had more worry-lines by the time he finished this third circuit.   Abseiling was a doddle after that activity.

Bed time for me after a day in and out of the garden between nattering to my mother ensconced in the conservatory drinking tea.  ::)

Here's hoping your mornings don't start too early.  ;)

4am today after a shredded day at my dear uncles funeral yesterday; planning some me time on the plot later today as the forecast looks good, so thought I'd get the ironing/some work done for tomorrow (3 back to back meetings  :nowink:) so can go with a clear conscious when it warms up...I do so love the peace early mornings give me  :)

Morning Tosca  :)

I'm off into work early again today, but enjoying a coffee and a browse on here before the madness starts  ::)  Well it isn't really madess, just the seasonality of garden centre life.  Another couple of weeks and I shall be slipping down a gear  ;)

Will be thinking of you, a sad day but hopefully the sun will make it a tad brighter.
