 Aunty or it could be "The Early Morning/Afternoon Club"  ;)

Not really early, but at least I am not waking at 3/4 o clock in the mornings. It must be all that work on the lottie tiring me out. Miserable day today so no lottie.

In my humble opinion there's nothing so good as mucking about on the Lottie for cooling the blood...and aiding sleep.

Oh boy could I do with some Lottie time somewhere... a shed at the bottom of the garden is my aim for the future.

And my watch has stopped again! What time is it?

Good morning all  :)

Surely not all Zzzzzzzz....ing?  ::)

I think I'll soon head off to the land of Nod and take my book with me. Tea and porriodge time will arrive far too soon.

For months, I've wondered why a car parks at the entrance to the lane opposite 'The Turrets' at this time of day, and shines the headlights straight at us and waits for a couple of minutes! I've thought of so many reasons, like someone setting a satnav, or lighting a fag, making a mobile call, but I've never found out until now, on my way down to tea and TEMC!

A quick (bleary) glance out of the window and there was the chap, delivering the papers to our neighbours!

Simple really - never thought of that!

And so a good morning to everyone here!

Flaming teenagers, having promised me they would go to bed by ten, came crashing upstairs at 11.30.  Then they couldn't find the key (they are camping in the garden).  Then I had to shout out the window at them twice to switch the lights off and stop talking.  Then I coudln't get to sleep because I was cross and worrying about getting them up this morning.  We have to get out the house by 8.45 latest.  Then of course the cat was restless and wanted cuddles every time I turned over.

Still I have had breakfast and the little one is up, so I will get everything ready to go out and wake them up at 7.30  >:( Morris dancing in Derby and rain forecast.

Up at 5.30am, getting ready for our eldest daughters friends coming over at 12am for a bite to eat. As its her 16th birthday on Tuesday today's the day for her small party. Only 10 of them, all girls, think I might go 100 yards up the road to the pub for a couple of hours.

Morning all. Another lie in for me and I would still be sleeping now if it weren't for neighbours slamming car doors. They must be out for the day lucky so and so's no need to rub it by slamming every car door they got  :(
It's tipping down here again might just stay in bed

Lay in till 6:30. Showered and brekkied, put bacon in the smoker,  now off to get more compost in readiness to get tomato pots ready and top up the spuds in pots. Will mow later if it dries enough.

I normally work Monday - Thursday, with Friday, Saturday and Sunday being overtime if I'm called in.

I get up at 6am every working day and go to bed at 10pm on "school-nights". If it's a Friday off I wake up at 7am, take Mrs James to work (and smile lovingly at her), and then head off to the allotment.

What time I get up on Saturday morning depends entirely on what I got up to on Friday evening; ditto Sunday morning.

Basically, I need my eight hours of beauty sleep. I worked shift for many years, so it's nice to have some sort of proper sleep pattern now.

I see some of you are writing on this thread at silly o'clock in the morning: not me . . . never in Europe!
I may be Welsh, but I love ewe anyway!
