Well you have all been busy!

Me:- mother's tea and breakfast done, the animals sorted out, the broadbeans planted, a loaf on the go and now it's time for my morning to get started with the 4 Weekly paperwork chore....

You say that as if you haven't done very much, that is more than I have done all day so far  :D

Just got back form getting 2 grapevines a Lakemont and a Vitis Flame seedless also got 3 Bluberry bushes. I think we have more than enough fruit to be going on with now :D

Ha ha ha - bed-bath; my foot!

We have a new mattress and have to turn it every week or something dire happens to it, so that's my exercise done for the week..;0)

It's odd, but everything does look untidy around now, as there's so much to do all at the same time. I reckon we never really get it all looking right until July and anyway, Patches and Plots don't have to be pristine do they!

Have a good one anyway, and hopefully a tincture or three, as it is Sunday!

(Isn't it..?)

You'll have to get Mrs G to bed bath your foot

Made a Victoria sponge, baking as we type :) ps don't tell them on HLC I'm not supposed to be having any.

HLC have spies everywhere!!

Ssh springy I thought you were my friend

Well, I've just polished off last weeks' rhubarb crumble, and it's only Sunday evening...

Morning all. I was determined to have a lie in this morning but chronic indigestion said otherwise. After an hour or more of discomfort gave in and got up....no sign of it now. Bah! >:(

I'm the early bird here, but usually just lie about hoping to get back to sleep. Last night I was well asleep when OH leapt up and squashed me! "There's a fox in the garden!" He shouts.  "It woke me up!"  Well, it didn't wake me or the dog. >:( He ran out with the torch and says it just looked at him disdainfully and slunk off up the garden to the allotments.  It was 2 am.

Hello, anyone around??

Frosty here, hope no one's planted tender stuff too soon!
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Yup, and we got a bit worried about the forecast last evening!

Seems OK - so far, but I'm not going down to the Patch yet...

I hope you're talking broad beans, not runner beans! Peas and broad beans would have withstood the temperatures we had last night.

I wondered where that there frost went. I didn't think we'd get it even though the BBBeeeb tv forecast said 10C for us.
Another forecast disagreed.....

.........but in came my butternut squash and courgette plantlets from the cold-frame.

Right now I'm recovering from cramp. Does coffee help? We'll see.
Morning all.

Morning Paul. If it is muscle cramp - eating a banana often helps.

Morning all. Not sure how cold it got here hope the seedlings I have in the greenhouse are ok. At least I have held off planting any of them out yet.
We are set for a beautiful day today so that means garden or allotment though there isn't much to do on the allotment. More seed sowing me thinks but first I have to put my greenhouse straight after emptying all the shelves and sorting through stuff  don't need. I came across an enormous spider that would have eaten me alive if I hadn't run for my life. Went back in after I had calmed down and now can't find it so I won't be going in there until I know it's safe
