Mine is The Snowman. What's yours?

Oddly we don't have one. I live with no tellybox and whenever I end up in a house with one, I find it horribly intrusive.

We have a few actually that have to be played over the festive season. The snowman, any of the Wallace and Grommits except the curse of the Were Rabbit and Santa Claus: The Movie (Husband and I insist it's played on Christmas Eve). Husband has the Muppets Christmas Carol and Scrooge, the one with Alastair Sim.

Husband and I watched Wallace and Grommit when we were small on Christmas Day so it doesn't feel right if it doesn't get seen. The Were Rabbit one is set in the summer so we can just miss that one but the Kids love it so it often goes on.  Santa Claus: The Movie always seemed to be on on Christmas Eve so it's what we are used to seeing so the kids have to experience it. Husband loves how Alastair Sim portrays Scrooge's gradual change across the three visits because he's thinking about what is happening and the message he's given each time. Rather than him getting the scare of his life from the Ghost of Christmas To come. And it's more true to the book.

Sorry, no sleep so I had to modify it to make sense. So many typos. Sorry

OH loves watching Scrooge, but there was one we saw a couple of years ago which was very like the book. Unfortunately I can't remember who were the actors, but Marley's jaw did what it said in the book and had to be tied up. I think the disappearing pigtail was also in it. Anyone know which one I mean?

Jungle Book was on yesterday!

Silly really, as we'd just bought it on Ebay, and watched it last week!

I still miss The Great Escape though...

Husband-who watches every version of A Christmas Carol asks was it a musical? It could be the Albert Finney when Alec Guinness is the Ghost. His jaws flop about when it's untied. There was an animated version where the jaw fell off, could that be it?
