Mine have just started to flower at last, I thought they were never going to get around to it. A small bunch, but just getting started...

I can't believe the length of the flower stems this year! Even the 'Cupani' ones which are supposed to be miniature sweetpeas!

And the scent is heavenly :)

Yes, I've noticed the longer stems this year - and I've grown exactly the same varieties as las year.

They must prefer this year's weather  :D

How odd, I was picking some yesterday and thought the same. Pleased to see the roses, lilies, dahlias and the annuals are joining in now too - I almost don't want to go on holiday because of what I will miss in the garden whilst I am away!

I don't like cut flowers, but we bought about six varieties of sweet peas for this year - red, purples, pinks, blues, whites, ripples... They're all over the garden as we've done before :D but weren't doing much growing until last week. Now they're full of buds and the first couple of flowers are out today. :)

I have one lot on a trellis against a wall, another lot on a cane frame 6 foot wide by 8 foot high, another lot on another freestanding frame, some in tubs, and two 7 foot wigwams in the border......
Must be well over a hundred blooms today and they get picked every two days..... About 8 varieties.
Some of the stems are now well over an inch across.  Oh, and I never feed sweetpeas, they seem to do fine without.

I'm having to cut twice a day now to keep up with them!  Averaging about 2 vases a day and rapidly running out of vases to put them in.  It's been a fab year for them.  I tend to feed mine about once a week with some tomato feed to keep them going.

Mine are all but over :(
Started flowering while I was away in France and although they were picked, too many have gone to seed, despite me cutting all the seed pods off.

They were lovely while they lasted! :)
