Title: Wasps! Yes I know, they do good, but.
Post by: Kleftiwallah on August 04, 2021, 15:05
What a crackin' afternoon,
the usual battle with the wasps (I know they are that gardeners helper if not friend), it's just that they are thinking about having a go at the bees!  I did the 'normal' thing and rimmed an empty Branston Pickjle jar with greengage jam but this just kept sliding down into the water in the hot weather, so...

I hot glued a strip of course emery strip around the inner edge of the jar and success, the jam sticks like poop to a blanket.  I can even reload the jam with the wasps still buzzing around!     Cheers,   Tony.
