Hi all,
we've kept chickens for 18 months now, having built the girls a lovely covered walk in run i had been toying with adding aviary birds in with them, budgies, zebra finches and canaries.
They've been living together now for just over a month now, no agression at all from the hens. The run/aviary is wonderful to sit and watch, always full of activity now.
Ive added nest boxes for the budgies and finches, the finches have been breeding furiously and even got to chicks but sadly we kept loosing them. I knew there was a nest with eggs in and a couple of days ago i found chicks in there so it has been fingers crossed.
This morning ive heard them cheeping away so hopefully they will go full term.

We've got an aviary too, ours is seperate to the chickens but we keep the quails in there. With that and the chickens we are going to need a new bench soon as the old one seems to get plenty of use.
And nothing else seems to get done.
