four new girlies will be joining us come saturday. After many years of taking on x bats we are now bringing in some point of lay birds for a change.
My girls want to fancy frilly girly types but as they are on the plot and there to produce eggs (no sentiment from me) I have decided on some bog standard warrens.
Coop is cleaned, steralized and fresh for them, run is all neat n tidy, cut the grass on Sunday.

That is good news Aidy, hopefully they will lay all through the winter for you as well. Don't forget to post some photos when they have arrived. :)

well they arrived and not to plan as I suspected ::)
2 warrens (tink n poly) cuckoo maran (bailey) and a sussex (izzy)
settled in and now producing what they are getting for!

They look happy in their new home Aidy. Hopefully they will give you a good supply of eggs this winter. :)

Ahh, the girls won? The pretty hybrids are still brilliant layers though.
