Sorry once again for my fleeting visits, but work and the allotment and my continuing fun and games with MS are not leaving me much time for anything else! (Photos of progress to follow soon   )

Anyhow, to the subject of htis message.

I acquired a brand new Supatrim Cordless Strimmer 14.4v SSGT1 from ebay a couple of weeks ago, which is great, but unfortunately due to it being from a "job lot warehouse clearance" didn't have an instruction manual in the somewhat damaged box!

Have any of you got one of these strimmers and might be able to photocopy me the manual (I would, ofcourse pay for photocopying and postage)

Failing that, would anyone be able to tell me how to get the strimmer cord out from inside the "head" as I cannot in my brain fuddled way seem to be able to work out how to get more cord out to "strim".

Hi squiffy,

If it's a manual feed like mine (not same make), you press the 'knob' down in the middle of the spool & simply pull it out.

And if it's auto feed you simply "bump" it down while it's strimming and it shoots more out.

and if it's none of those it could be like mine that you pull on the head and give a little twist and then pull the cord out.

I can't add to any of the above advice, but I have looked around the web for a manual...sorry. Can't find one available for download.

However, if this is the same one, then maybe get intouch with them by phone or email and ask.

Tweaky, it looks very much like the one you have highlighted, but the head is different.

There's more than one customer I've had in my past life, with a non working strimmer line fault. And its been taped up or looped up inside.
