Im after a draw hoe myself, cant find 'em anywhere (cept on ebay for £17 plus £7 postage!!!)

only new ones seem to be part of that tool system with swappable ends, but im dubious that it could stand up to any hard use

I got my draw hoe for about 8 squid in Focus - it's got a nice wooden handle and seems to do the job.

For old garden tools, try charity shops and junk shops - I got a fabulous three pronged cultivator for three quid in a tat shop in the Cotswolds when I was last down that way on a dirty weekend  :D

My normal hoe is well over a century old, and belonged to my fella's nan - she'd got it from her mum.  Both were very short ladies, and there's a definite groove in the handle about two foot from the end where they would have held it.  It sharpens up beautifully and slices through weeds - it's a real joy to use.

I got 2 really old hoes from next door when the old lady died, her executor let me have them.  one draw, one push, they are great, better than the one I already had! And my 3 pronged cultivator I've had for nearly 30 years!

Stuff was built to last in those days!
