Plant labels: We've used the plastic tags for some time and found that whatever we write on them fades. We've used laundry markers, pencils, you name it and we've probably tried it

I've noticed that Nurseries use a small black plant label that is written on with a "white" pen - Does anyone know where you can buy those ?

I think you can get them online, Ive been thinking about using them this week having just cleaned a carrier bag full of the white variety, tell me why they took so much cleaning when some that I would like to be written on permanently fade or disappear completely?.

I use plastic labels, used the £1 50 packs from The Range, Wilko and Poundland. But make sure that the lables are dull and do not have a shiny coating.
The only problem I find with some of the plastic ones is after a few years use, they become brittle, but so cheap to replace.
I use the Sharpie permanent markers that are great value on Amazon.
They with the Sharpie written labels over many years have been totally weather and waterproof and are this year are all looking as good now as when I wrote on them earlier in the year.
