Title: Other egg information
Post by: Roughlee Handled on August 05, 2008, 13:43
Yes I know another post.  I keep reading this information and thinking I know that one of you guys will find this information helpful.  Last one today I promise.  http://www.eatwell.gov.uk/healthydiet/nutritionessentials/eggsandpulses/eggs/ (http://www.eatwell.gov.uk/healthydiet/nutritionessentials/eggsandpulses/eggs/)

I have had people tell me oh you should not eat to many eggs because of the cholesterol in them well here is an eggtract from the above webpage."So, if you are eating a balanced diet you only need to cut down on eggs if you have been told to do so by your GP or dietitian. If your GP has told you to watch your cholesterol levels, your priority should be cutting down on saturated fats. "

Thanks for that Roughlee.  I've added that to the "useful" topic in the Poultry Information forum.
