Hi all quick question from my nextdoor.... When do you prune a Greengage? I've got his to do in exchange for some fruit

Sorry Knight Family, don't know a thing about greengate pruning, but I wanted to get to my 500 mark (I think I should be a hero member).

Try Googling greengage pruning and see what comes up.  That's what I do

I would say don't unless you absolutely have to!

If you must cut out dead and crossing wood and any very inconvenient branches while it is in leaf, perhaps as you pick the fruit.

DO NOT winter prune plum type trees.
