Hi
Did you not quarantine them? If you had kept them in a seperate run where the original hens could have seen them but not get at them it would have been much easier to merge them, not to mention the risk of passing on disease etc.
Anyhow if they are together now it is best to keep a close eye on them, spray some anti-pecking spray on your new girls, make sure they have more than one feeder and drinker, also have some purple spray to cover up any redness that may be caused by pecking etc.
Good luck  :)

I agree with what Pauline's suggestions.  I would add that you could try putting in things like a bucket on its side so that your bullied hens can get out of the way.  It is natural for hens to establish a pecking order and it can get quite nasty.  Good Luck from me too   :)

can i just add a little note here, please dont put a bucket on its side or anything that the bird can hide in... pratical tho it sounds it is asking for more trouble if the bird is stuck inside a bucket and the other birds are attacking it then the best defence for the bullied bird is running away, if its stuck then its going to be pecked even more and if blood is drawn then it will be in an even worse condition.. how would you like to be locked in a box with others beating you up ;)

good point munty, and I also liked your suggestion of providing hidey places of tree branches so they can hide out of the way  :)

Branches are a really good idea.  When our banties were being beaten up by the  Huddersfield hooligans >:( we put branch bundles in the corners of the run, the banties could get through but the hooligans couldn't :) we also put food and water in one to make life a little easier for them :D
