Title: Polystyrene tiles for Greenhouse Insulation
Post by: Celtic Eagle on March 24, 2008, 10:37
Hiya folks

Bit of background first

Two side of my 10 x 8 greenhouse don't let any useful light in anyway because one is about 12 "  from a fence and the other backs onto my shed.  Now I was wondering if you can still get the 3' x 2' polystyrene blocks about 1" thick so I can isulate the useless bits of glass . Also are there any alternatives which may be easier to get these days

Thanks

I use polystyrene but i get old packaging. I put it around the shelves and it keeps the cold off well.

I'm pretty sure those poly blocks are still sold by the DIY shop Wickes as insulation. I bought some early last year, and I'm (almost) positive thats where I got them from :D
