Scallions and other onions grown from seed.  At least until I have time to figure out why the germination is so poor (maybe try again after retirement).

I'm still planting my 'zombie scallions', essentially re-growing scallions that have gone yellow in the refrigerator.  They quickly grow new leaves and turn from something destined for the compost bin into a useful vegetable.
I have been on the verge of giving up spring onions many times but then I get the occasional year when they do very well. I have absolutely no idea why! ::)

I have given up on all types of broccoli this year, and parsnips are in their final, final warning. Celeriac is making a comeback, but it only has one chance!

Has to be Celeriac. Mine were a bit better this year but they just don’t seem to fully develop into a ball, I just get the top half and then roots. Someone told me they must have a lot of water as they are growing.

My lime tree, had it four years, never flowered

Try Celeric Asterix F1. Last year was my first year and I got some super results. This variety is slow to bolt and disease resistant. Good luck.

Celeriac.   Despite following all instructions and copious watering I can never get them to grow larger than a walnut.

Ann try this method....
Dig your trench around 9 inches deep, fill with good compost/ rotted manure, back fill about 2 inches deep as it is too late prepare as below. Transplant seedlings into the row.

I prepare my trench in autumn and fill with veg scraps etc with horse muck, then back fill in mid December ready for the following season. Always works for me.

Final warning to the thieving squirrel that sits on my shed roof. You've got too much attitude, pal.

My pigeons and squirrels would work together ...
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
