I have mash and cabbage left over and some chicken hopefully defrosting in time - if not there's a tin of corned beef as backup.

Leftover gammon, potatoes of some description as I haven’t decided what yet and mixed root veg mash.

Is mashed potato and mashed veg too much?  I am weighing up the best combo for spoon standing

Well I couldn’t decide what to take out of the freezer & grandson was here today for lunch so I took out
Balti chicken curry, creamy garlic chicken, Swedish meatballs-all 1 portion tubs & a larger one of bolognese, thinking we’d have that with pasta for lunch, but he was having that for tea
So any of the above- had egg & prawn fried rice or lunch.

A largish chicken breast is defrosting and I have a sachet of Satay sauce, plus peppers, leeks and fridge gravel for a stir-fry. I have cauliflower rice to go with it so hopefully it will stretch for today and tomorrow..

I'd put a jacket potato in the oven but neither of us were hungry so just the potato with cheese and beans.  I was going to make a veg chilli but will now save that for Saturday as I've got bits out the freezer.

I still have some leftover mashed spuds and cabbage and now also stuffing from yesterday.  Seems a no brainer to just put the rest of the chicken with it and cover in spoonstanding.  The apples are beginning to smell overly applely so I may have to do another crumble, there's no freezer space to process and store them  :nowink: Not usually fond of the Jonagold but they've provided plenty of acceptable crumbles this year.
